Abstract

Objective. To develop the technique of implant lower slope coverage for reduction of the incidence of complications requiring redo surgery in subcutaneous and skin-sparing mastectomy with simultaneous breast implant reconstruction.

Material and methods. We have analyzed all available techniques for implant lower slope coverage and developed the technology without some shortcomings of the existing techniques.

Results. The developed technique reduced the number of complications requiring redo surgery in subcutaneous and skin-sparing mastectomy with simultaneous breast implant reconstruction.

Conclusion. This technique ensures breast reconstruction with maximum economic availability, optimal aesthetic results and minimal risk of postoperative complications.
