Abstract

Objective. To predict the risk of complications after mammoplasty using original computer program and choose the management strategy.

Material and methods. An experimental clinical study was performed throughout 12 months (January 2020 — March 2021). We observed 60 patients scheduled for aesthetic surgery. In addition to clinical and laboratory examination, we analyzed risk factors of complications in all patients using a computer program. Postoperative follow-up period was 6 months.

Results. We found high diagnostic significance of original computer program in predicting the risk of complications. This approach increased the effectiveness of aesthetic mammoplasty.

Conclusion. The original computer program can be recommended for routine practice in aesthetic surgery. This program is valuable to predict the risk of complications and justify certain treatment strategy in each case.
