Objective. To present the efficacy of skin-fatty flap of anterior abdominal wall in acute trauma of the upper extremities.

Material and methods. Three patients with acute trauma of the upper extremities are presented. All ones underwent reconstruction with skin-fatty flap of anterior abdominal wall.

Conclusion. Wound closure using skin-fatty flaps is effective for restoring soft tissues of the limb without the need for microsurgical techniques.
