Abstract

Objective. To analyze the quality of postoperative scarring after combined breast surgery in patients with different types of breast tissue.

Material and methods. We analyzed the quality of postoperative scars in 45 female patients after combined breast surgery considering breast tissue density. Postoperative follow-up was 12 months.

Results. Breast tissue type is essential for postoperative scarring after combined breast surgery.

Conclusion. Analysis of breast tissue type before surgery is advisable for predicting postoperative scarring. This approach can influence the choice of surgical methods and quality of postoperative scars.
