Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To modernize surgical intervention in face and neck rejuvenation.

MATERIAL AND METHODS

Surgical treatment of patients with age-related face changes is summarized. Patients were divided into three groups depending on changes: group 1 — patients with soft tissue ptosis, sufficient bone support and correct bite, group 2 — patients with soft tissue ptosis, correct bite, but deficiency of bone support in certain areas of facial skull, group 3 — patients with combined dentofacial anomaly. Patients of the first group underwent classical soft tissue rejuvenation surgery, the second group — contour bone grafting alone or as a part of complex rejuvenation. Patients of the third group underwent staged rehabilitation.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION

The presented correction options are highly effective and safe methods of aesthetic correction. However, combined therapy showed higher efficiency as evidenced by study results.
