Abstract

Objective. To evaluate face proportionality angle in planning surgical rejuvenation of the lower two-thirds of the face.

Material and methods. Photometric cephalometric analysis was performed with FPA measurement on preoperative and postoperative images of 150 patients. Methods of working with superficial muscular-aponeurotic layer were analyzed. Appropriate data were compared and analyzed.

Results. We formulated the recommendations for working with superficial muscular-aponeurotic layer to maintain normal aesthetic proportions of the face.

Conclusion. Face proportionality angle allows for accurate assessment of visual proportions of the face and reasonable approach to rejuvenation.
