Abstract

The use of botulinum toxin type A in the middle and lower thirds of the face and neck area is widely practiced by doctors all over the world, but these manipulations still remain off-label. Russian specialists have a great advantage for is the opportunity, because they can work in a legal field, since the instructions for Russian botulinum toxin type A provide recommendations for their use in the middle and lower half of the face and neck. It is even more interesting to study the experience of foreign colleagues and compare it with the recommendations that are reflected in the permitted indications for the use of Russian botulinum toxin type A in the middle and lower thirds of the face and platysmal bands.
