Abstract

Objective. To develop an optimal surgical technique for repeated facelift.

Material and methods. Surgical technique is presented in two clinical cases. Surgeries were performed at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Lancet Clinic (Gelendzhik) in 2024.

Results. Repeated facelifting is accompanied by some difficulties due to altered tissues, in particular, severe fibrosis at the site of primary detachment in skin flap and superficial muscular aponeurotic system, damage to vascular network. However, favorable aesthetic results are possible even under these conditions. In these clinical cases, there were no early and delayed postoperative complications, and favorable aesthetic results were achieved.

Conclusion. Repeated facelifting is an urgent problem. In case of correct assessment of further intervention and surgical technique for a particular patient, we can obtain predictable long-term aesthetic results with minimum number of complications.
